I got a chance to hear him talk about coaching and the importance of team last year at Nick Saban's coaching clinic. I came away very impressed with him and so did my boys. He's been leading one of the most impressive and consistent offenses in recent history. He keeps interviewing for HC positions, but never seems to be the guys. The Giants did interview Ryan Poles for the GM position - I'd assume they'd work well together.
Thoughts?
I’m sure Bieniemy is an outstanding man and coach but if I have to make a gigantic decision like hiring a head coach, how certain am I that KC’s success is because of him and not Reid?

There is plenty of evidence that he is not at all an outstanding man. No thanks.

I think that's crap. It's interesting how the offensive assistants under McVay don't get the same questions as EB. Kevin O'Connell is getting consideration this year and he doesn't call plays. LaFleur was McVay's OC then went to Tennessee for one year in which they were 27th in offense yet he got a HC gig. Zac Taylor was an Asst WR Coach under McVay before getting the HC gig.
Maybe he just doesnt interview well? Maybe he just doesnt have the answers owners and GMs want?

I think if Bieniemy wants to be a HC, he’s going to have to leave KC and have success as an offensive coordinator somewhere else.

I get the sense that while McVay calls the plays, the offense is a collaborative effort. Andy Reid is not that type of guy. Watching McVay’s coaching tree they have all succeeded. Andy Reid’s coaching tree not so much. Matt Nagy and Doug Pederson looked better with their OC being more involved (Bill Lazor and Frank Reich).

I'm just trying to be nice and keep the argument based on what I see on the field.

And not a good interview
Nobody’s perfect.
Totally. When you put hands on women, you are far from perfect. Same people that are willing to take Bieniemy as a HC don’t want Watson because of his off field troubles. Makes no sense
The University of Colorado Boulder banned Bieniemy from its campus for one year as a result.
“She stated that the male who grabbed her said something about ‘a bunch of Black males all at once being her worst nightmare,” the attendant told police, according to the arrest report.
Same thing happened to Ray Sherman under Mike Holgrem.
Would you trust a DC who operates under Belichick?
Mangini/Patricia anyone?
Teams are desperate for the next hot shot coordinator - especially an offensive minded one. He is being passed over for a reason.

Flores seems to not be scaring anyone off at the moment, though.
