I started reading with amusement then was shocked that they think their us.
" Blow it up"
"fire the coach
" rebuild the offensive line"
" our front seven suck"
"the play calling is atrocious"
"we need defensive tackles"
" Jerrah is terrible of judging talent"
"I'm not watching anymore football"
and hilarious " Romo should STFU he never delivered"
My thoughts exactly. Even if the Giants had the same record as Dallas, you would be reading the exact same thing on the BBI post game thread.
He’s a slob and it shows in the discipline of his football teams too.
Who needs a playoff meltdown when the entire season was nuclear disaster?
I swear _ I never had any worry or faith they would go deep into the playoffs.
To be honest, I had to be educated on another thread about that. Just never focused on the fact that the ref has to spot the ball. That said, I don't get paid the big bucks to know all the rules.
Wow!

talking with some idiot who blames the Umpire for not letting the Cowboys spot the ball themselves rather than let the Umpire do it.

Exactly. The fact that McCarthy and Dak are still whining about how it was handled shows just how mentally unprepared they are. If you spend a minute studying the rule...you realize Dak was to blame, not the ump. The fact that they don't seem to get/acknowledge that tells you exactly why it happened and illustrates the difference between the best teams and them.
Damn right it's better than ours
I can teach you, but I have to charge

The guy I was talking to was not unaware of the rule. He just kept saying the difference between the Cowboys spot and the Umpire spot was small so there was no need to do it and that the umpire following protocol was unfair to the Cowboys. The Umpire should have just accepted the Cowboys spot, touch the ball and clear out.
The problem was that he couldn't get to the ball because of players milling about right in front of him. So this excuse by Dak does not matter
Bahahahaha
Competing for the #1 seed and lost to the Cards at home.
Jerry Jones thinks his team is better than they really are.

The umpire was actually helping the Cowboys out by being generous. Dak should have been down at the 26. The linesman had the spot just outside the 25. The umpire should have taken the time to see where the linesman was and made the Cowboys back up from the 23.5 (where the center put it) to at least the 25 if not back further instead of generously just putting it at the 24.
You can see the linesman move to the 24 after the umpire spots the ball, but he was definitely further back before.
At least promote Quinn to HC.
That's what the Dallas coaching staff was at the end of the game ...

It's called not being prepared (no matter how talented your team is.
Years ago I worked with a guy who taught me a bunch of funny little sayings, this one fits, It's called the Seven "Ps" - Proper Prior Planing Prevents Piss Poor Performance".
And not much put on the fact that Dak did not play well, in a big spot, at home.
This is why they catch so much shit. These casual band-wagon fans of theirs who don't understand a thing, running their mouths
Only reason Dallas was in the game was because Shanahan is equally as inept as McCarthy, well slightly less.
Exactly! I always laugh a little when threads like this are started. We have meltdowns every fricking day!
Honestly, you can't go 1 and 4 against teams with at least 10 wins and expect to win the SB.
Yesterday's outcome was so predictable and delicious happening in AT&T Stadium.

Sy commented that the Cowboys owed a lot of their point scoring to defensive takeaways or something like that and that that would not work in the playoffs against the better teams. Sure enough.

Same reason Greg Roman’s offenses have struggled in postseason. It can exploit teams that are weaker across from them, but it doesn’t translate when opponent is able to match up. This is like the baseball team who does great in the regular season because they can force teams to use a lot of pitchers, but struggle in postseason where fewer starters and more off days mean that you are no longer facing the pitcher who would be the last option in bullpen.
Or, was it the OC, that they may hire as their next head coach?
This is an important question that needs to be discussed.

This is a very good point.
Yeah we have several fans here who believe the refs screw the Giants out of wins all the time. It is usually the same posters week after week blaming every close loss on one or two calls that go against them and ignore the one or two that went in our favor.
That is playoff football. Your weaknesses get exposed.
