"A team that loses a minority assistant coach who becomes a head coach or loses a personnel executive who becomes a general manager will receive third-round compensatory picks in each of the next TWO drafts."
Graham is still on Giants staff. They should get a couple 3rd round picks.
We need to be rooting very hard for this to happen

But I think Graham has only slightly more of a chance to become the Bears HC as I do.
Any word on interest from the Bears?

With the Bears-to quote Kevin Garnett-anything is possible. They're not a well run organization. That said, I can't see Graham being their next head coach.
Maybe but if we can get draft picks, I'm for it
Why?

Trade them both for the rights to Jonathan Stewart please.

That may not get it done.
Gettleman valued Stewart at around $3M guaranteed to be his short yardage snitch specialist.
Many here agreed as I recall...

You go up to go to a cave? What are you, a mole?
Ha ha, classic.
But hey, I'm for it if our new GM gets a couple extra third round picks.
hahaha, that was a great one.
All of the coaches are on individual contracts. As long as their contracts aren’t expiring they are technically still part of the Giants coaching staff. That being said, the unwritten rule is when a new coach comes in those coaches are gone, hence the party. The Giants are still obligated to pay out the remainder of their contracts, just like Judge. But in some cases (Tom Quinn), coaches may be retained by the new head coach selected.

Right? There's already one Black head coach. How many do they need....
Minorities are woefully underrepresented in the upper echelons of the league, even with the Rooney Rule. This new compensatory pick rule has been around for a year or two and will hopefully motivate teams to promote promising coaches to coordinator positions, and then they hopefully get hired to head coaching positions. Same for GMs.
$1 a year by every adult Giants fan only requires 2.5M adult Giants fans.

Personally I would of thought we would be past that and just hire the best coach but I guess not. It is headed in the right direction at least. Hc that’s I believe will always have the biggest fluctuations from year to year being only 32 positions and the job being so volatile. The position and assistant coaches doubled last year to almost 36% and with 70% of the league minorities. More and more former players are going to coaching after they are done playing so that trend should continue to rise and in time more will earn the hc position.
As far as front office goes I have no idea but I’d imagine it isn’t anywhere near those numbers yet. I just have to believe we will get there someday.
LOL you and Margot Robbie...she certainly is a babe
