Though it seems odd that out of 9 candidates only 2 so far have been confirmed for 2nd interviews. I’m wondering if some more names will come out tomorrow.
Still though, this seems like a neck and neck race between Schoen and Poles.
Lots of speculation, light in facts. Perhaps he excused himself from the running, perhaps he didn’t make the cut, or perhaps they’ve yet to announce an interview. Nothing would surprise me.

if you interviewed them the first time why waste there time. If the Giants have two guys they like than its about getting one of them done. Don't than waste the other guys time. Hell I would bring in my top guy and if he agrees than its over.
But I read on Twitter there were 5 names being mentioned for follow ups. Everyone knows Poles and Schoen were two….Peters and Monty were two of them. Not sure who the other one was.

had been back channel investigations on Schoen and Poles for some time. Not surprising they are the two coming in for second interviews. I increasingly get the feeling this “GM search is more subterfuge by our “geniuses” and they want to hire one of these two.
