I would be curious to see if Daboll would retain Graham here and if Graham would be open to staying. It's a move I'd support. On offense, you would naturally look to Ken Dorsey although I imagine that is who McDermott will peg as his OC and the ability to run an offense under a defensive HC is likely more appealing.

Callahan did not want to work for Judge. This is a thing some of the Judge supporters and folks that were killing Garrett, didn't understand. Judge tried to recruit a bunch of guys but a number of top guys were not interested in coming here or were blocked from doing so laterally (Daboll). It's how he got stuck with Garrett.

Flores always had problems attracting good assistants. Certainly something to take into consideration, though he did go 8-1 after not talking to his assistants

Judge did not choose Garrett, Mara forced it on him

It's a problem that has plagued all of the Pats guys who have left to go to other places. Funny enough, the one who was building a decent staff was McDaniels with the Colts job (but then he pulled tail in and ran).

Belichick has also always taken efforts/arms length to limit whether an assistant can raid from his staff and is why despite that puff piece back in 2019-2020 about how he opened up his mind to his beloved assistants to learn the Belichick secrets (it was a load of nonsense written), the truth is Belichick has taught fundamentals for the most part, but he kept control and insight almost like a dictator.

job because his daughter lives in denver. I would imagine if the new staff wants muchak (and they would be crazy not to) he would stay in denver. Hope I am wrong tho
