Andrew Thomas final 2021 season Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades and ranking. Thomas went from 59th highest graded tackle in 2020 to 19th highest graded in 2021
there's a big enough gap in responsibility and impact at LT that is should be ranked and rated separately from RT. Guards I get but Tackle is a different ballgame.

They do rank it separate but I don't have those rankings
That grade should go up even farther. He wasn’t great at run blocking this season mostly due to his ankle. He gets that fixed and we’re looking at All Pro caliber tackle.
half of 2020, I'm surprised he was ranked even that high.
He has some things to clean up in the run game, but he is the least of our concerns. He and McKinney are the closest things we have to cornerstone players.

The LG and C have a lot to do with that. He's playing with 4 players that very arguably shouldn't be starting in the NFL.
He’s definitely in the conversation for a top 3rd LT.
I’ve posted this before, but Sale had a number of candid interviews where he points to Thomas as extremely reliable. That’s a great bar for a guy with less than 30 starts.
The next tier up are guys who get out and attack opponents. Now good chance Thomas doesn’t have the luxury because of his battery mates.
But you watch guys like Wirfs and Williams, even at his age, they are out finding people to hit. And that sets up big plays in the short passing and run game.
There’s a clear difference between Thomas, a guy who’s playing good assignment football and the big play makers.

Thanks for posting this. Thomas definitely improved and it was nice to see.
But looking at that, what a monster Williams is. It scares the ever loving shit out of me that Micah Parsons bull rushed him into the backfield on Sunday. Parsons is all about speed, for him to dominate Williams on a power rush like that was the eye opening. I hope that kid doesn’t wreck Giants/Cowboys games for a long time.
Only on BBI will this actually breakout into an argument about why we should have picked a RT in 3...2...1

There goes my shot at the Assistant GM job...

give it few seasons maybe he pulls a Flowers and is an OK guard
One was when Glennon held onto the ball forever versus CHI and Quinn got his team-record sack. But he stoned him all game.
Dude was hurtin’ big time this year.
