2022 is going to be a mess, no matter what, until the cap situation is resolved and the under performing/often injured players are off the team. Fans are going to have to bite the bullet. It may be uglier than this year!
I'm fine with that, if it means we're going to put in the proper foundation (good players that are improving).
Hopefully we see moves that are not meant to pay immediate dividends, but set the team to be built up the right way. I am fine with one or more losing seasons if this team starts to actually make progress instead of slapping band-aids on broken limbs.
It will take time to rebuild this team and not just on the roster but behind the scenes as well. It's just nice to see some light at the end of the tunnel, a beacon of hope.
As for Dabol..If he is Schoen's first choice, I will back it. He knows the guy a lot better than most of us do. I was skeptical at first given that we had our fill of first time head coaches from the coordinator wheel but hey, have to start somewhere.
