Justifiably, the owners have been ridiculed, mocked for their lack of football acumen, and have been taken over the coals by a very passionate fan base.
This feels different than years past with the hire of Joe Schoen and lets hope it's the start of a new era in Giants football.
To the owners credit they conducted an extensive search and have hired a candidate we can all get behind.
I know it's only a start but it's the first time in a long while that I have real hope that we can get this turned around. Now, let's go out and get a real coach!
LOL
they should credit every season ticket holder for the past 4 years of gettleman. How can they look at themselves for that sham of a process back then
Oddly, I think if he's really doing what needs to be done, next season could be a true bottoming out. So many things need to be revamped/rebuilt, it's going to take some time to really see the results. There's going to be a "trust the process" period. Maybe a couple of years. I mean, there have been issues with everything from cap management to scouting to coaching staff to training/medical to grounds/turf to concessions in the stadium. Not to mention disastrous PR like the Pepsi thing. This is going to be like turning an oil tanker. He's going to have to lean on the wheel for a looooooooooonnnnngggg time.
I see what you did there....
