Both the Dabol interview yesterday and the Frazier interview today were for Mara and Tisch to get an introduction to both men. Schoen has worked with them for the last 5 years and I am going to guess, had conversations with them previously about being a head coach in the future. Yes, these conversations would be specific to the Giants, but I think Schoen already has a good feel for who these men would be as head coaches.

at 9am on a Saturday? Who thinks Frazier was wearing only a shirt, tie, blazer and boxers?

You ask about leadership style, about building relationships,
about going about developing a roster, etc....
In the Giants case, you have to ask what the prospective coach thinks about Jones.
It's the elephant in the room so to speak, so you can't avoid that topic.

the interview started. Didn’t they once start an interview at 6 or 7 am?

McDermott hired Beane. Not the other way around.

not sure what happened his third season with the vikings but his teams went 3-13, 10-6, 5-11 and he was fired after 3 seasons

I think this is good, on the general principle that leaving these things to the Mara family hasn't gone well.

At another offer without checking with the Giants. First interview for the 2 guys most likely to be unavailable for a week.

Much more aggressive moves by the Giants than with Shurmur and Judge. They waited too long to move on Shurmur and jumped too quickly for Judge.

Frazier has to be the least to get excited about. He had NO success as a HC and just seems to be destined to be a very good career DC.
