it's because of the great play by Burrow, Chase and the rest of the offense that they managed to get this far. If they get a decent OL next year, they'll be easy SB contenders.
all the time, with no reflection on what is happening on the field or what the game situation is. The San Diego HC is under fire by the fans for this. They think he gave away the Raiders game, which cost them the playoffs, because of repeatedly going for 4th downs rather than take a few FGs
Fourth down I don’t mind as much. But the two point thing down one or in a tie game drives me crazy.
There was a penalty on the Bengals so it was from 1.5 yards out. That said, I would have taken the points. This game is probably going to be close.
I generally agree.
On the other hand, when you have Derrick Henry, I can see why it's tempting to go for two.
Yes, but he is coming off a foot injury. He probably is not the Derrick Henry we are used too. I don't even think that played into him getting stopped. The Bengals played it well. Going for two there is probably the right call by the numbers there. The problem is this is the playoffs and a tight game.
No question Burrows is a tremendous talent and an AP student. But one cannot observe his game today while failing to note the amount of separation Bengals' receivers are getting in the secondary, three/four/five yards virtually every pass play. Part too is scheme success by CIN and zone by TEN not wanting to see Jamaar go to the house.
so everything is a 3 step, short pass. This is going to really limit Chase's impact.
This is the same issue the Giants face, except our line is so bad we face it every game. Last week the Cincy OL didn't have anywhere near these problems vs Las Vegas, who has a terrible D.
Either they figure out a way to get better protection so Burrow has time to go deep, or they need to somehow get Chase involved in the short game (bubble screens, etc.). The issue with that is the Tenn D knows its coming too

Fixed it for you.
No, our problem is that we have a bad line PLUS we have an inept QB.

Wish we could pressure/sack with a 4-man rush.
DJ did it one season....zilch since

- can't throw deep or midrange

Oline excuses don’t really hold any weight anymore

game.
SFG, Bengals are talented, no doubt, and don't necessarily disagree with your outcome, but selling Vrabel short often comes up short.
9 + minutes in 3 rd, you re calling game? Wow
Yea. But I ve also watched a lot of NFL football. Bengals are in command, but this game isn’t over
That I agree with.
Tannehill will get the blame but the OC is an absolute moron. Trying to be cute in the playoffs doesn’t work.
Tannehill sucks.
You can’t stand over a guy like that, and who know what he said to him.
