Really good watch. A few things I noticed -
Funny how the video opens with Beane mentioning the Giants.
everyone is dressed in a suit, I like the organization.
A ton of people in the room which gives the feel of how much value the Bills put on all levels of their personnel department
You get a feel for the trust Beane has for Schoen.
Compared with the Giants war room scene its not a surprise which team has been better over the last 5 years.
Inside the Bills Draft Room - (

Do you have pics or video of the Giants draft room in 2019? If not, just do a google search and you’ll see the same thing. Large conference room, executives in suites. The last 2 drafts have been during Covid and are nothing like previous drafts with large group gatherings.
Link is an article from 2019 with a couple pics of the giants organization looking professional.

at the 2:45 mark some pretty good stuff on Schoen impact.
yeah the bills have a lot of FO stuff each year on youtube. Pretty cool inside info from them.

The contrast in war rooms between the Bills and Giants is frightening and kind of damning. Ours looks like a conference room for a small local company — all the usual suspects there. Like 5 guys with CM fairly prominent, JM adding nothing (hopefully) all computer screens dark, and they hardly look integral… while the Bills look like the control room for a Blue Origin rocket launch…. Yeah analytics kind of matter

And yet they still traded up to draft Deandre Baker...
While you can see their big board with tiers in the background, it's almost as if they didn't use it much...

That caught my attention as well.
I've generally been opposed to targeting specific players, preferring to allow the draft to dictate the board, etc. But the willingness to go up or down and seek their proper tiers for the players they were locked in on was fascinating.
I think the Giants have historically done the locking in on players but not the legwork to be working the phones like this. Buffalo wanted Cody Ford badly (for better or worse), and they seemed to be working the phones every single pick trying to move up. I suspect that if he had come off the board, they'd have immediately pivoted to start looking to move down. Same for Knox.
I think Schoen really has a chance to change the way our front office operates.
I just have always had the mindset that the tier approach keeps everybody grounded and not allow biases (good or bad) to rule too much of the day. And you move around the draft based on what players still appear in your tiers.
Nevertheless, Schoen is our guy now come hell or high water...
