I hope the Giants interview him for the HC opening. For years I always felt Saleh was extremely overrated. SF always had such great defensive talent and I felt Saleh never did a great job. There were always games SF would give up like 30+ points. I know SF always struggled with injuries but most coaches at the NFL can coach when they are littered with talent.
Then we see what DeMeco Ryans has done this year. I've been impressed. I think doing what he did tonight was great in holding GB to 10 points so far. I've been reading up on him ever since Peters was a legit candidate for our GM position. Ryans is extremely smart and a great leader. I'm not saying to make him the HC hut he deserves an interview.
X infinity.
Mara has to make the call.
I don't know if there are any more windows but last I heard was no. Any HC interviews needed to be completed by today otherwise the team has to wait until they are out of the playoffs.
I see it the other way. Most if the sacks came on great coverage. Rodgers wasn't able to hit his first or second reads. Don't get me wrong, the DL was getting pressure but it wasn't solely one or the other. They worked well together.
You would think they'd at least be interested in interviewing their former player.
I agree.
Yep. Think the Giants would have needed to draft him prior to their playoff game. Hope he still gets a look.

To follow up on this, if the Giants want to interview, say 49ers DC DeMeco Ryans, today could be their last chance until after the Super Bowl. Ryans is already scheduled to interview with the Vikings today.

I remember wanting the Giants to draft Ryans at 32 even with Pierce then Kiwanuka was the pick. Then he was NFL DROY and I was even angrier. Fortunately it worked out better for the Giants.
