They had trips with Kelce in front of Hill. You would have a hard time holding Hill at the line, but how do you play 15 yards off the line of scrimmage with someone like Hill?
RE: On that game tying drive, how would you defend that pass to Hill?

I kept thinking watching Tyreke Hill. Can Toney be that guy?
Said it in the other thread but if that isn’t a clue into where the league is and how much further it’s heading then I don’t know what is. Dominant defenses are a thing of the past. Maybe you get one for a season, realistically you really only get one for a stretch within a season, but if you are building from scratch you build with offense.
the Bills situation reminds me of the Bucs situation in the early 2000's.
Dungy got them as far as he personally could and they fired him and took Gruden from the Raiders and gave up a big package to get him.
That paid off quickly when the Bucs won a Super Bowl.
I'd try to make Tomlin the present day Gruden and get him to Buffalo if the Steelers were willing to listen. Who knows maybe in a rebuild like the Steelers are likely to go through they may be willing to listen if the Bills offer multiple picks.
Frazier won't be the HC, but it has nothing to do with the Bills D in this game.
No defense was stopping the chiefs from getting in field goal range with 13 seconds left?
If the Bills didn't play the last 2 plays the way they did, it would have taken a minor miracle for the Chiefs to get in field goal range.
Instead they made getting to the 30 as easy as they possible could. Hill wide open, Kelce wide open, both catching in stride heading up field to get big chunks
but I don't think Buffalo's defense even played that badly. They pressured Mahomes regularly, and had enough coverage to force him to improvise. Sometimes you just have to say "what can we do"? Mahomes ability to escape the pocket and keep his eyes downfield is uncanny.

I’m sorry but that’s inexcusable. If I’m Allen, I’m pissed.
Frazier should never be a HC after this. He may not even be a DC. That was as bad of coaching you will ever see.
I didn’t say that. However, they interviewed him, didn’t they?
You want him as your HC...
The coin toss wasn't the game. The Buffalo defensive calls with 13 seconds left was the game.
I agree. If Buffalo won the coin toss, Buffalo would’ve won. Both defenses were like tissue paper at this stage of the game.

And not covering Hill

I’m talking about relative to the time during the game, my friend. 36 to 36. What happened before was passé.
And the middle open.
He’d keep the tradition of our DCs.

But the way he coached this game in the 4th quarter should reduce any chance to 0%.
Bills were awful in close games this year. By awful i mean they lost every single one score game.
That's a direct indictment of the head coach.
The loss in Jacksonville cost them home field advantage and in my opinion a Super Bowl title.

As far as that game, that is at McDermott feet. Guy is a former DC. Hold a lead with 13 seconds to go.
Someone tell the Giants we have him down for a "NO" on Frazier.
That’s right. Allen lost the game when he called tails.
You want him as your HC...
Not so in SF - all defense into the title game
