I don't really care about the Bills success but these are silly reactions.
This was one of the best games I've ever seen and it came down to the smallest of missteps. If your team is playing that high a level of football they are doing something right.
There's a very high chance this game determined the Super Bowl champion so I think most takes are going to be an overreaction.
But the bottom line is this: Stefon Diggs caught three passes for seven yards, Emmanuel Sanders had for 16, Isaiah McKenzie one for three, and Dawson Knox two for nine. If not for Davis catching eight for 201, this would have been a blowout.
If one receiver catches 8 passes for 201 yards and 4 TDs, doesn't that slightly offset the other receivers not producing much?
judging by one game instead of the totality of the past 3 seasons...3 playoff appearances, 2 AFC East titles...as a team that has barely sniffed the playoff for a decade, id sign up for what the bills have right now and will continue to have for the next several years

Honestly one of the dumbest takes I have ever read. If anybody in Buffalo deserves to be fired it's this guy.
Does Allen bail him out of a lot of situations? I think tonight he did, esp on that 4th and 13 where the play selection was questionable.
There were other instances where he decided to run the ball rather than put the ball directly into Allen's hands (like on a 3rd and 3 after KC had just scored).
Other times he was just letting Allen run around like a wild man (sometimes successful!)
On the other hand, he might have great concepts that will work here and anywhere.

You haven’t learned it s the last game, hell the last play that only matters, where have you been ?

Im not a Daboll fan. Yes, the last 3 years have been successful for the Bills but Daboll's previous stints as OC in the league were not good. He benefits from Josh Allen and a true #1 receiver (Diggs). The Giants don't have that kind of talent on the roster. He doesn't commit to the run/they didn't have a 1000 yard rusher. Allen was second on the team in rushing. You cannot use Daniel Jones like he is Josh Allen.
Ex: The 4th Q run where Allen got the first down and ran over the d back, Jones would have broken his collar bone on that kind of impact.
Even though the search has a wider net cast, it really doesn't. Its always been Schoen and Daboll
There was a significant amount of development that went into it and Daboll was a huge part of it. Also throw in the synergy between HC and GM. Those dismissing Daboll are nuts. He has to be huge consideration.

Or it could be the addition of Ken Dorsey as QB coach in 2018 that helped Allen mature.

I already replied to your post in other thread. But in response to this question here, Schoen can answer that --none of us have a clue.
Chiefs, who have been in the SB 2 straight years, on the ropes and easily could have won. They also scored 36 pts. I think the team, and offense, should be lauded not criticized.
Allen became the 1st QB to throw 2 TDs in the last 2 minutes to take the lead.
The defense should be questioned, although KC is a machine
Thought last night showed how much it’s about the players.
Mahomes is being chased out of the pocket on almost every play and it doesn’t matter one bit. Allen wasn’t far behind and was their best RB to boot. And that’s just the QBs. Allen’s big improvement coincided with the arrival of Diggs. Coincidence? It’s not the NBA but you have to have talent before anything else.

Right? KC could not cover Davis, so why wouldn't Allen keep going to that well?

We don't know that Daboll is the de facto hire, but I really don't get the "he's only a good OC because he has x". Yes, you need talented players to be successful. He had a 10th ranked offense with Tyrod Taylor at QB. And he was part of the team that worked with Josh Allen to help him overcome some pretty bad habits.
I have no idea if Daboll will be a good HC, Flores would be my first choice, but he has more than earned this opportunity.
I'm not saying that any Bills guys will succeed at the next level, but
the "they're only good because of Allen" thing is pretty specious, in my opinion. It's weird to acknowledge that Allen is killing it but ignore the group that scouted him, selected him, built the team around him, coached him, and designed the game plan for him.
It's even weirder to discount a coach because of one game and ignore a career's body of work.
I have no idea of Schoen will turn out to be a good GM or if Daboll will be a good head coach here or elsewhere, but some of the arguments against them don't hold much water.

Yeah exactly. They just played in an all-time great playoff game at the home of an absolute juggernaut team. And it took a miracle to beat them.
Bills are the best or 2nd best team in the league. @KC in the playoffs is the literal most difficult matchup in the league. A team that plays like the Bills did yesterday beats everyone else anywhere else. And they were seconds (or a coin-toss) away from beating the Chiefs.
but Daboll probably will be. I'm way less concerned with questionable playing calling then I am with can he build a great staff and can he run an entire team as HC. Can he manage the clock?
The OC skill set and HC have almost nothing in common and there are very few people on the planet who are successful NFL HCs. I'd be shocked if Daboll is not the next Giants HC so I hope he's ready and has the right stuff.
Can he identify a franchise QB for us and install a scheme we can win with?
Period.

But a lot of OCs will look appealing having a QB who is a bigger, stronger, faster version of John Elway.

We have to find a franchise QB no matter what.
I've never believed in Frazier, either (even though some here might).
And, no, we don't have a John Elway look-alike on the roster, that's why Brian Flores is intriguing. We'll see.
I like Flores but he needs a good offensive coordinator period

Shitty writer and a shitty website.

So why didn’t you want him here in the ‘18 draft?
