is it kind of alarming to anyone else that the drafted players for the bills kind of stink in these groups and the ones that are good are mostly from DG's tenure in Carolina?
the one that sticks out the most to me is AJ Epenesa. I remember people saying the giants were in play on him early in the 1st round. Then he dropped to the second and has been invisible(lost a ton of weight, maybe related). Same with Greg Rosseau who everyone freaked out the second he got his first sack.
Ed Oliver started heating up but his first 2 years you can easily say Dex has been better.
just something I noticed because it seems they invested a good amount in DL recently.
Yeah and Rousseau had like 40-50 tackles with 4 sacks, 4 PD, and an INT. His rookie year was pretty good. He was strong against the run.
Bills were #1 in Yards allowed per game and #2 in points allowed.
Man, what terrible drafting. LOL
Strong up the middle
Top safeties, strong MLB (losing Blake this year really hurt us) and strong DTs.
Next is a focus on CBs followed by situational edge players
They put a significant emphasis on their secondary too, similar to the Patriots but bigger up front.

Yeah that defense looked pretty good. Both defenses looked pretty gassed to me at the end of that game.
Not to mention, arguably the best defensive player on the team in Tre'Davious White has been out for months now.
The dilemma for every team but KC has to be: How do you find a defense of guys that can chase Mahomes all day long and still have the legs to catch him with 5 minutes left in the game? The Bills had the #1 defense in the league and by the end of the game they couldn't keep up AT ALL. (The KC defense couldn't contain Allen, either. Those two guys are the gold standard going forward.)
He really is scary. So fun to watch. And Allen wasn't a slouch either. What a great game.
