I canceled them because the bill from them was getting absurd. $240 @ month. Also realized I had been paying $8 @ month for the DVR's after 10 years that comes up to $960 per box for a $150 piece of equipment and I had 4 boxes.

I've got the same bad taste in my mouth about the high cost and equipment rental but living in Kansass, I'll be held hostage for one more year I guess. Have some buddies here that use bogus streaming to watch their out of market teams but just not reliable enough for me and I've spoiled myself to recording each game in case I can't watch live or want to go back and watch again.
I'm hoping next contract goes to Amazon Prime I think and after Direct tv contract is up, we'll be cutting the cord and go exclusively streaming.
