Lets just assume Daboll is hired as head coach of the Giants and will have a significant role with helping the offense. So if you studied him on the Bills, or even just watched a couple of their playoff games. How do you see his offense working with the Giants players? Lets assume Jones will be back, Barkley will be back, with Golladay, Toney, Rudolph, Slayton, Booker. If Daboll brings over the Bills offense, or he brings over an OC that runs a similar offense, how do you see that fit with the current Giants players? Would the staff have to tweak things or do the players fit that scheme better? Consider any potential FA and draft additions.
In other words, they are multiple years away from Daboll’s Bills style offense yielding results in NY. The defense of our team is not that bad, but the offensive side is horrendous.
I disagree. I think our coaching masked some good pieces on offense.

I should say. I think the line is a block hole minus AT. But the skill positions are decent imo.
I would hope Daboll isn't stupid enough to think that offense fits with Jones. Thus, after he evaluates what he has, and what else he needs, he will tailor an offense accordingly.

which players? toney played like 2 games. golladay is always hurt and was ineffective this year when healthy. barkley is a shell of his former self. slayton sucks ass. there are no tight ends on the roster except rudolph and he has a giant fork sticking out of his back and should be a cap casualty. shep should be cut and has neven been anything other than decent (when he's not always hurt) and thats through multiple systems
MAYBE barkley will be better with an offseason where he can train and not rehab. but i'm not holding out hope for that.
This one for the Understatement HOF
it's literally the only thing jones does well, but it's a double edged sword since he appears to be injury prone. and you could see the injuries coming from when he first started as a rookie because he had no awareness on when or how to slide and just took huge hit after huge hit

Exactly. I read an article that someone posted on BBI that he tailored the offense to Allen thus the success. Though maybe there will be some similarities because Jones can run I suspect according to the article it won't look exactly the same. I've always thought too many teams try to force their QB into a certain offense that doesn't fit them. He'll need to tailor the offense to what Jones does best. Jones, like him or not, doesn't have Allen's arm or size.
On the personnel he will be able to gather - who is healthy, who can be drafted, who can they get via free agency and who will be shown the door.
My guess is that it will be more of a WCO style offense (with a lot of zone cut-back running game features), with the ultimate goal of slowly creating a full-blown play-action passing offense.
In that respect, I'm not sure Daboll is the right guy for the job. I think Brian Flores can put the pieces together, better.

is a bit of a misnomer. The offense you watched was the Josh Allen offense. An offense that fits the skill set of Josh Allen and his constituent parts.

I read the same article. It was a very good read.
We have a ton of holes and no cap space. We need a lot of draft picks.
I don't think Engram will be back.
