There would be any interest from teams if we put Jones on the trading block. Injury prone and hasn’t showed much of anything in 3 years. Maybe someone would want him as a backup
No way - I'd hold out for their #1 pick in 2023 too
If you just look at the guys who are under contract in 2022, a post-Brady Tampa team could drop off pretty fast. Mike Evans is a handful, but he was always a handful, including a bunch of years when the Bucs didn't win anything.
We might have to trade a 1 to get them to take him.
And both suck. Wentz was literally the worst qb in the league the year before he was traded. Jones if healthy definitely has value to a team that thinks it’s a QB away. And yes I think jones sucks too

People thought those two had potential. No one in the league thinks Jones has potential. At most they seem to be saying "Jones is literally impossible to evaluate because the Giants offensive line is a historic-level disaster."
Someone offered a 1 for Jones, you get him on a plane ASAP
That being said, he may be worth a 3. I think there will be a market for him, some GM/HC will think they can fix him and get his to take the next step.
Because of terrible offensive talent and poor coaching.
So which of the quarterbacks in the draft is a sure thing?
And next year who knows regarding quarterbacks coming out.
There are a lot of teams that need a quarterback and the supply is very limited.
You can't say that around here because the BBI mob thinks he sucks. of course the shitty offensive line and having no receivers constantly because they were hurt
Don't underestimate the value of Jones.

If you draft a QB in the first round, your worry is that he turns out to be Daniel Jones. Why would you trade the potential upside of one of these guys to lock in the downside with Jones?
“The bottom line is, I have confidence in what I do and who I am,” Gettleman said. “I’ve been a part of organizations that had pretty good quarterbacks — Jim Kelly, John Elway, Kerry Collins, Eli Manning, Cam Newton. … I’ve been a part of teams that went to seven Super Bowls. I had a hand in some of them. But today, there’s no patience. And there’s no room for civil discourse in our society, which I find sad.”
The list of quarterbacks above were not taken when Gettleman was in the top job and their selection didn’t leave him in the spotlight the way that the Jones pick will. Gettleman told King that “we’ll find out how crazy I am” in three years and we’ll see if the Giants are that patient if their 8-24 record over the last two years proves more telling of the future than Gettleman’s more distant past.

The next three years would in fact be more telling
The only group willing to give up a first for Daniel Jones is half of BBI. Just stop, no team in the NFL values him that much, and that's if he's healthy.
You mean he may have a career-ending neck injury? Really, he won't be cleared for contact until August? Sure! Let's give up a 1st round pick for him!
posters will realize it is not a strawman argument that some people on BBI think Jones is some kind of top tier QB and everyone else around the league knows this. Ridiculous posst like this are why there is no rational discussion of the guy.
A Superbowl contender in not replacing Tom Brady with Daniel Jones and giving up a first to do it. That is not a serious post.
And per usual, the OP posted his silly comment and then left to stir the pot.
Not one team in the league is giving up a first round pick for him.
Not one team in the league is giving up a first round pick for him.
Lol I thought he meant to write 4th
Not one team in the league is giving up a first round pick for him.
The delusion is even more nuanced then that, too. Jones? He sucks. WE don't want him. We'll trade him for a first round pick!
Or Cousins
😆😆😆😆
I really don't get what some people see in him. From all accounts, good kid...hard worker...but he's a backup QB in this league.

My god.
And Im not a Jones 'hater'
Bradford and Jones. Skill set and talent is like comparing apples to elephants
Get real

Darnold and wentz both suck

Like Dave Gettleman did to get him on the roster in the first place?
Not one team in the league is giving up a pick for him.
FIXED
People thought those two had potential. No one in the league thinks Jones has potential. At most they seem to be saying "Jones is literally impossible to evaluate because the Giants offensive line is a historic-level disaster."
Fair question for a Giants bulletin board but: Come on, man.
Holy scrotum, Batman.
Run, don't walk to podium if someone in Tampa offered this, bc they are obviously tripping balls....
Ha!
That being said, he may be worth a 3. I think there will be a market for him, some GM/HC will think they can fix him and get his to take the next step.
And presuming you could find a few teams, then you’d have to determine which is the likely highest draft position of the offers.
Call Cutliffe to see what he thinks.
And finally run the whole thing by Chris Mara for his sign off...

Which would probably be a top 10 pick if they have Jones at QB in 2022
Not one team in the league is giving up a first round pick for him.
It's sad really
We have the same possibility of getting a 1st for DJ as we do for Engram. It is pure folly.
Please stop this nonsense.

A #1 pick for Daniel Jones? Ha! The Giants would be lucky to get a 5th for him.
