According to GBN Draft Report:
"Way too early Top 25 for 2023 … “A lot of good players!’ That’s what GBN Chief Scout Larry Parker had to say after he had put together a very preliminary Top 25 ranking of players for the 2023 draft for those who want a bit of an idea what’s coming down the tubes in future years."
For this long-time Giants (and crazy Draftnick) fan, it's NEVER too early to look ahead since the road to prosperity begins with our team hitting solid gold in the next two drafts.
I'm assuming B.J. Ojulari (ranked #12) is the kid brother of our very own Azeez Ojulari. And ranked #3 is my very favorite college player -- Will Anderson who reminds me a lot of (shhh, hush your mouth) Lawrence Taylor.

BUT...it's amazing how different things will be come next year's draft date.
Not that those aren't good players that will likely find their way into Rd 1 or so, but come on with this ranking...
Now your talkin'

Bryce Young we have seen under pressure, and I think what we've seen is pretty darn good so far. Shroud, what would he look like behind the Giants OL?

Behind the Giants offensive line Shroud would be shredded.

Could have said the same about Burrow coming out of LSU

I'm on the same page as you re Young and Stroud. I was hoping to see OSU make it into the CFP so we could see Stroud vs Bama or UGA. Hopefully we get to see that next year. Young is #1 imo due to the fact I have seen him play the best.
It's never a bad idea to accumulate extra draft capital but A LOT can change between now and the 2023 draft. Tua and Darnold were both guys who started to show their warts during their last cfb season. As an even more extreme example, look at Rattler. I'm not convinced either Stroud or Young are elite, franchise changing talents.

So did Joe Burrow and look how he turned out so far. Get off that narrative, CJ Stroud is a beast of a QB

No QB will look as good behind the Giants OL, we need to improve it. I'd like to see Stroud against top comp, but it's not like he played in the ACC this year.
I like Stroud far more than Young. He's bigger, and the ball just jumps out of his hand. Great long ball thrower. If I had the #1 pick, I'd be waiting at the dais for Goodell to show up.

He's not playing in the SEC, and he has one of the best OL's, the best receivers in college football, and maybe on of the best RB's as well.

Huge, huge difference between the competition between OSU and LSU. It's not even close. Burrow did his damage against the absolute best, can't say the same for Shroud, that seems painfully obvious. I will say that he is just a sophomore, and he's got a ways to go, but we are not going to know until he plays against teams consistently that can put more pressure on him.

Stroud is the better than Young. Better size, better arm, better athlete.
The 2023 class is overrated right now. I'm curious to see how it actually plays out.
