We have the other one. I figured enough have finished the first 7 to discuss. Obviously a crazy last ep. Frankly if it went 15 minutes or so longer it could have passed for the season finale. Everyone saw Javi going all loco from mile away. Ruth probably takes him out. Darlene Snell needed to go and Wyatt was a nothing character.
Interesting to see where the last 7 go. Cat & mouse between the Byrds and Javi/Ruth? Between the Byrds & the FBI once Javi is gone? I predict the Byrds walk away and Jonah is the hero. Also what was with Ruth, that Aunt/family friend and those plant seeds? I say she takes over the heroine business. Either Snell's farm or those seeds are masking flowers to start her own poppy farm?
She's going to get her kid and mom killed. That's what I was thinking. I almost think this could and even should be one of those unhappy endings.

Yep thats very plausible. When you look at the show, nobody ever survives but Ruth and the Byrdes. In the end it probably be poetic justice that they bite the dust too.
Is it me or when dramas get real annoying when kids get involved? i swear to god. Jonah has to be the most hated character in all of tv. I mean Stevie wonder knows why Wendy is trying to not get them all killed but the little douche cant see that.
as for the rest, i swear that car crash better be all of them just dead and end of story. it would be great to see
Jonah is such a sniveling little prick. The PI gets on my nerves, needs to mind his own business before he gets taken out. Javi has become what Omar was in the beginning of the show. I actually respect Omar now, the FBI screwed him.
Ruth continues to be the best character on the show. Would like to see her hook back up with the Byrdes again.

If you notice, all of these shows piggyback off of other successful ones with Sopranos being at the top of the pyramid.
They all have problematic kids in the mold of Meadow and AJ. Brodie's daughter from Homeland, Walter Jr./Flynn, Ray Donovan's son, Jonah. You can usually find therapy rolled into the plotlines as well.
With Ozark specifically, you have a big overlap with Skylar White laundering money and the characters of Skylar and Wendy specifically. Wendy Byrde is Skylar White on steroids.
Jonah is so annoying. Charlotte used to be like this, but she changed over time is now being like her parents. I actually hope her, or even Ruth, take him out.
Navarro is not going easily, and the flashback car scene tells me him (or someone close to him) gets the Byrds in the end. I can see the parents dead, and Charlotte and Jonah heading off to Seattle to end the show (if he doesn't get killed first). I think Ruth gets knocked off too
She was under the impression that was the final episode, period. I told her I thought there has to be a final half of season 4 coming. Anyone know when it's coming...not a year wait is it???

But we know none of the Byrds die. The are all in the minivan heading to Chicago. That has to be the last scene of the very last show. I hate the PI. I believe Ruth and the KC is going to take out Javi. I also believe Ruth and Cosgrove get together.
I kind of want Wendy to be the one to go and Ruth and Marty to team back up. Something about Marty dying would leave a bad taste in my mouth.
