real good landing spot for a QB, especially with some OL tweaks. Najee, Claypool, Johnson, Freirmuth. Will be interesting to see if they go with a vet, a young guy, or both.
And just a note to the NYG fan who suggested they fire Tomlin in some random thread awhile back. He has had a winning record every year since he was HC. Think about that.
Obviously, it's not a HC problem. Personnel or assistant coaches underperforming, sure, but they're fine at HC until he basically is done coaching. The frustrating part about that is, their fan base has to get pissed off with all of these winning records every year but way more often than not, it just results in a failed playoff run to date (except for three years).
At least NYG fans don't have such high expectations each year and can generally predict if we have a playoff run possible without the drama of a full season hah.
But he was a true HOF QB and one of the best of his era. It was sad to see how much his arm had declined these last couple of years. He turned into a dink and dunk machine, but in his prime it was always fun to see him stay in the pocket forever shrug defenders off like it was nothing and then fire a strike downfield. Just a really fun playstyle and unique to this day.
Great career, Pittsburgh might finally be in for a rough stretch after decades of quality football. Especially with the Bengals looking prime to be a contender for a long time.

They made the playoffs with a corpse at QB. They'll be fine.

It will be interesting to see if they go for Wilson or Rodgers or decide to rebuild.

Not with Mason Rudolph at QB.
I do not see them trading for a QB as they are not big on giving up draft capital like that.
I thought the same thing

Perish the thought! You've harbored some wonderful felons... Heard of Aldon Smith, Bruce Miller, Reuben Foster... among others?

But......rape, haha.
Just having fun here.
Poor Benjamin might not have raped and we joke like he has.
Onward.
They only have 5 picks, and all of them combined don't equal our 7th pick. No thanks.
