To wonder whether Schoen would be concerned about an experienced guy like Quinn challenging his thinking/undermining his authority relative to Daboll where they have a relationship and would be relatively seamless.

The fact that Dan Quinn leaked he's returning to Dallas right after the Broncos reportedly hire Packers OC Nathanial Hackett as their new head coach and the Bears reportedly hire Colts DC Matt Eberflus as their new head coach is a pretty clear indication of what jobs he wanted.

Highly unlikely. Quinn is known to be very good guy to work with and collaborative.

The only talk (and it's just talk) going around is that he is being very selective because he knows it's likely his last chance and that he didn't agree with the direction the Mara's wanted to go at QB.

As I said, that's just talk.. right now. The truth on that sort of thing usually doesn't come out until much later. Quinn is a very respectable guy. He's not the type to bad-mouth anyone.

It's a QB league. If you don't have a good to great one, you are likely spinning your wheels in the mud and fighting, at best, for a .500 record and one-and-done wild card appearance.

I said it earlier, this quasi-gauntlet that Mara has thrown down with Jones could very likely backfire.

Good for Quinn if he said thanks but no thanks because of Mara wanting to run DJ back again. Maybe he'll get the hint
