have a coach hired and see how they work together? So many of you just assume if it is Flores he was forced on Schoen- which I DO NOT BELIEVE and if DaBoll is hired Schoen only looked at his friends.

Stop the gloom and doom and let's see how the coach is, what changes they make etc.

there of course needs to be professionalism but in the NFL the GM has to support the coaches vision, not the other way around.

I think it can cause issues if it filters down to the team. Lock the doors, argue it out, find a compromise and both agree its over till the next battle. Win on Sunday.

It's probably overstated but I think it is more important for this franchise at this time. There's not a whole lot of stable footing to lean on here. This franchise is in disarray and needs an overhaul, we're not the 90s Bulls. They need to build something, so it certainly helps to have two leaders on the same page.

At the very least, hold them both equally accountable during the rough patches. Enough of this scapegoating BS, let them succeed or fail together.

the relationship needs to be functional. Krause/Jackson was dysfunctional and only covered up by MJ. That's not a model to emulate.

but the head coach in football is the franchise in a lot of ways. that's why they get paid so much. the GM needs to align with the head coaches vision more than the other way around.

it's hard enough to find a good head coach in the NFL with a wide open search without eliminating any candidates. it only gets harder if you eliminate any candidate who isn't 100% harmonious with the GM.

This is way more important than most. As anyone who remembers the Young/Reeves era (GM drafting guys a HC refuses to play) can attest.

Point where I don’t care if they have fight club in the break room. Just as long as they win.
