Per source, the #Bills and a few other teams wanted to sign Antonio Williams to a reserve/futures deal. Joe Schoen made a push for Williams to join the #Giants. Williams can provide backfield depth and contribute on special teams.

24 years old; 5'11", 215 Lb, 2 NFL seasons, undrafted out of UNC.
NFL:
only played 1 NFL game--12 carries for 63 yards and a catch for 20 yards in the Bills' 2020 finale vs. Miami. Signed a reserve/futures contract with BUF after the season.
Spent 2021 mainly on practice squad, Bills Wire called him a "fan favorite."
College:
Spent two years at Ohio St. and another two at UNC. Had 48 carries for 322 yards and 3 TD in his senior year.
Played behind Michael Carter and Javonte Williams so never really got his shot in Chapel Hill.
Young player who was stuck behind really good backs at OSU and UNC. Looks like a good athlete. Slow 40 (4.7 at the combine, but 4.52 at his pro day), but good 20-yard shuttle (4.2, Barkley's was 4.24, Tiki's was 4.0), with a 36-inch vertical jump (Barkley was 41, Tiki 35.5).
Maybe if the Giants start winning some of these folks can get back to talking football instead of other posters' secret motives, agendas and character flaws.

This was entirely different..A poster made a comment that I disagreed with and I took it as a complaint. I did not say he should or should not post his opinions, I merely disagreed with it..
There are so many problems with the NYG roster it is frightening.
Certainly no elite players and only a couple of names that would even garner some Pro Bowl votes; minimal core players and playmakers; veteran starters with injury problems or required rehabs; high to middle draft picks kept on scholarship; so many JAGs starting or near starting; very little impact from youth; large free agent deals to wean off from; even bottom of roster special teams are weak.
Quite possible the worst roster of all 32 teams. Schoen has a lot of work to do...
JK Dobbins at Ohio St so he transfers to UNC only to be stuck behind Michael Carter and Javonte Williams..

I’d also add it’s way more interesting when members debate the topic, rather than dive bomb in with a criticism that the topic isn’t worthy.
