I am pretty sure he won't get the job, but is anyone else worried that he's the last interview/most fresh on the minds of the decision makers when it comes time to make the HC call? He gets his second interview tomorrow morning.
I'm sure he's a nice guy and everything, but the thought of him as HC...well...that's a tough sell to me & I suspect a lot of us.
I wasn't enamored with the job he did in MN & the lasting memory of Sunday-to me-was the Bills D those last 13 seconds.
I'm 99.8% confident he won't be our next HC, but there's still that small percentage something crazy happens. Perhaps Schoen wants Daboll & Mara wants Flores & somehow Frazier is the compromise pick....
They have to interview him to meet the Rooney Rule. They may decide tonight, but they can't say anything until after the Frazier interview.

Thinking 3 moves ahead...lol

So the last impression on Mara is not Flores. Shift the momentum back in the direction of Daboll.

I'm not gonna say you're wrong, but after reading numerous threads on this this week, the verdict seemed to be that you needed 2 face to face minority interviews. I'm just repeating what I've seen

To be fair either way I could swear I read it both ways a couple months ago. But with all th talk about how the league adjusted the hiring process and how it really has affected how long it’s taken to start getting these jobs filled, I would probably lean towards it’s two in person meetings
But to act like that Bills defense wasn’t humming like a jet engine all season is ludicrous. He had the number 1 defense in the league, while not having a single player named to the pro bowl on that side of the ball.
He was a head coach. I don’t know what happened on the Kelce play, but I think it was a screwup and not a prevent defense. They rushed four. But the point is that it shouldn’t wipe out the great defensive job he did all season.
Even though Frazier might not get the job, his interview might impact who does get it.

Candidate. Daboll to Miami, giants get cold feet about the way Flores stories......not saying I want him cause I don't. I just don't think it's far fetched.

I agree he’s a stud DC and yes he does have HC experience. I see him more as a permanent DC type guy though, like Dick Lebeau, Jim Johnson. Wade Phillips was an awesome DC but not a good HC. Norv Turner was an amazing OC and a terrible HC. I think the skillsets are just very different.
Daboll worries me In many many areas, so choose your worries. Flores ticks more important boxes, especially past HC experience for me. I think Mara goes same way.

Schoen's last name is not pronunced like you think. If you're looking to rhyme maybe go with "Schoen Train".
I want whoever is best for NYG, but personally this would be exactly on par with the Shurmur hire for me. Hard pass.

Ah good catch…. ALL ABOARD THE SCHOEN TRAIN!!!
That scenerio is unlikely.
Wade Phillips was also a good HC. Five winning seasons in 9 years at three different stops. High upper tier defensive coach.
Just because they are not a BP or BB does not mean they are not many good/solid HC's.

I wouldn't mind Frazier as a DC myself.
