and Randle walking away while 2 other Knicks teammates go and help him up . What a shit teammate he is .
Another video posted by Bondy of Randle taking his time getting back on Defense and then coming down and fouling 1 of the bucks players on a 3 point shot.
He played 37 minutes and had 9 points and 4 turnovers with poor effort and lazy defense.Randle just can;t be on this team past the trading deadline. I don't care what the package is coming back , just get rid of him
I guess Forunier had a good game so at least maybe possibly he becomes easier to trade but other then that this game was pointless.
Cam and Mcbride DNP- Thibs being a moron
Obi played 13 minutes, Quickley played 11 minutes, Grimes who was red hot in the 1st half played 18 minutes . All the vets played heavy minutes though as the Knicks are sitting in 12th in the East going nowhere. I mea just what is the point of this ?

No idea, and its not like the young players are bums, they are better than the vets Thibs chooses to play..
You telling me Obi couldnt score 9 points and 11 boards in 38 minutes? i mean Randle does nothing..
Burks plays 18 minutes, plays zero defense, he scored 10 points, you telling me Reddish couldnt do that?
Kemba had a good start but was bodied continuously by Holiday, Deuce couldnt do more?
I mean its not like the vets are playing well, this is ridiculous
I don’t mind keeping Fournier around a bit - I spent too many years watching Knicks teams with zero threats from three-point range. He can still help going forward unless the right deal comes along.
the similar narrative about the Yankees' needing to bench their lumbering home run/strikeout hitters in favor of their athletic, contact hitting minor league call-ups.
It would be nice to be able to believe that the answer is already here and available, but it's not.
The Knicks' bench often gets to play against the opposing bench. If the bench had to play serious minutes against other teams' starters, good things would not happen.
Grimes was -20 tonight in 18 minutes; Quickley -15 in 11. When the plus/minus suits the narrative, it is seized upon; when it doesn't, it is conveniently ignored.
This is a thoroughly mediocre roster, top to bottom, and there is a long and uncertain road ahead to anything better.
Is there a superstar? hell no but there is talent and you can win games with the players on this team if used correctly and i dont think Thibs is.
He has no feel for the game, he sticks to his substitution patterns and doesnt deviate from it, he sticks with his guys longer than other players..
Last night 3 times he took out the hot player because it was time he scheduled for a sub, meanwhile Randle plays full quarters as he is missing shots, holding the ball and having turnovers..
If you are a player other than Randle and probably Rj, how can you play for a guy like Thibs? every player the second a player has a turnover the coach is flailing his arms like the player committed the worst sin on the planet..
You look over and Thibs is cursing and screaming, yet when Randle makes a mistake, nothing, no screaming, arms crossed not saying a word..
Toppin misses a shot or has a turnover, ok out..Grimes was hot from 3, had 2 bad turnovers, instead of saying to Grimes hey just be careful with the ball, Thibs is screaming waving his arms and takes him out..
It is ridiculous at this point, the coach needs to be the calming force of a team, not looking like a nutjob on the sideline. Popovich when he gets mad at a player or the player looks out of sync, he takes him out and talks to him, maybe yells and then puts him right back in, doesnt matter who it is or was, he treats every player the same..
Interesting stuff. Funny with the rest of his life stuff that dude was out in tin foil hat territory, but his Knicks takes were comforting and reasonable and actually have the best chance of coming true.
So is George from “Into the Knicks-verse” - kind of a lame title, but good content. The podcasters are all better than the Knicks reporters, outside of Begley.

By far. No clue how Berman still gets paid to write.

I was reading some of the comments, apparently he has some kidn of connect inside the Knicks organization, so when he talks he talks with that in mind..
either way nkce to hear after the deadline they are going to ahift to the youth, at least we hope

Thanks for posting that. Seems like Burks, Kemba and Fournier are most likely gone. He's less certain about Randle, though, and even comments that Randle can do no wrong in Thibs' eyes or words to that effect. I don't find that encouraging. WTF is wrong with Thibs? The guy even points out that this is Thibs' dream job - why is he jeopardizing it with special treatment of Randle?
He’s acting like a guy who put in his two weeks’ notice a work and is just passing time until his last day.
The problem is that while all of the coworkers see it, the boss is oblivious to it and continues to give the employee the best projects because he likes him
his whole career. Wears out his welcome pretty quick, burns out his players quickly. Randle looked like a cornerstone player last year, but his personality as a leader was always questionable (as we are seeing this year. The front office has acquired some talent. They need to progress to the next phase with a coach to take them to the next level, develop young players (besides Barrett), and tweak the roster so it makes more sense.
Thibs won’t get you there.

FO and Rose need to take the decision out of his hands and trade the vets.
how glorious was that Grimes floater and his block of Middleton’s turnaround jumper? A couple of ugly turnovers but I’m enjoying all the positives.
I love Grimes. He needs to be playing more. As much as the season has sucked-thus far-there's a lot of good young players on this roster...RJ, Obi, IQ, Grimes, Mitch, & McBride.
Forget the fact that Burks and Randle are gicing him nothing, its not their fault its the teams fault..
and i want the same for the young guys, quickley should kf been taken out earlier he was awful tonight..
Taking out Grimes in the 2nd and taking out Fournier in the 3rd was malpractice..
If i am a young player i want out, this ridiculous, nothing they do will get them more minutes

Knicks trade a 1st for him and Thibs doesnt play him at all..
I’d bench Randle til he’s eligible to be traded. He’s quit.

Nope according to Thibs he does so much for the team other than scoring..
and remember its not the starters fault, its everyones fault..

but instead Thibs gives him no minutes and instead we watch the slow footed Burks playing, bringing absolutely nothing..

As for Randle, I can't wait until he's gone. I'm done with him. & I think he's done with the Knicks & us fans too.
yes

on Kentucky Obi's brother? Says he's from Brooklyn, so I would guess so.
yes
yeah, they just said that - but it was becoming clear watching him play - he looks a little like Obi - and plays a lot like him.
I love Grimes. He needs to be playing more. As much as the season has sucked-thus far-there's a lot of good young players on this roster...RJ, Obi, IQ, Grimes, Mitch, & McBride.
5-5 from the field in the 4th Q, 4-4 from 3, single-handedly keeping Kings in it.
No one else on the Kings could score a point in the last 11 minutes of the game. Fox out with ankle.
Sixers have been reported to want Haliburton and picks for Simmons. Kings won't do it.
Knicks could not have drafted Morant but Haliburton was right there. First major decision for Leon Rose and it was a disaster.
Kings here Monday night.
Some speculation around the league they are lining up to trade him, thr Kings have denied that..
Knicks and Kings do continue to talk a deal about Randle..

Please be true. Randle has completely quit on this team. He cannot stick around any longer

Which team says no?
Knicks get:
De’Aaron Fox
Kings get:
Jerami Grant, Alec Burks
Pistons get:
Julius Randle
