How do comp picks work? If Dabbol is hired, seems like he will bring in Martindale. If that happens, do NYG have to wait until Graham is possibly hired elsewhere to get comp picks?
Because I’m not sure if they hire a new DC, if they have to wait until he would get announced as HC elsewhere to get the compensation, or if they hired someone else prior to Graham getting a HC position, do they lose possible compensation.

Yes but the coach has to spend at least two years with the organization which Graham just did. Unfortunately Graham will not receive a HC job.
