has become romanticized and overblown. Probably as much anxiety response as it is intuition. To paraphrase John Cusack in High Fidelity, I think most people's guts have shit for brains.
I'm not sure if it makes me feel better or worse about Flores. But it is interesting to see Flaherty's perspective. More interesting that Judge brought in Deguglielmo and Flaherty after Flores moved on. The OLs for both teams were trash although Miami's was slightly better, or at least seemed more cohesive. I am basing that observation on only the last couple of games though, specifically the Pats game.

They did perform marginally better at the end of the year but it wasn't good.
I already am rooting against Flores and it is for reasons like this article.
something is off with him.
Let's go Daboll!
lol I keep seeing people post this, but the proof is in the pudding. He took the Miami Dolphins, whose roster mirrors ours, to two winning seasons which is even more impressive based on the fact they lost their starting QB for 8 games. He is 4-2 against the Patriots including a win to keep them from having a bye this year. I mean yeah, they all got questions but... I'll take him

Then what do you say to the reports that Flores wasn’t even around or communicating with his staff for the second half of the season, while the Dolphins went on their win streak? There’s definitely something off with Flores.
I'm not sure this interview provides much insight.
Although Flaherty recalls Flores telling him that he's making a change on a "gut feeling", the reality likely is that he fired Flaherty because he didn't think he was good enough at his job.
Sometimes when you end a relationship with someone, you might still like them enough personally that you don't want to completely shit on them before you move on. No need to make them feel worse . . . that's kinda what this sounds like.
Not to mention the line about being "very impressed" with Daboll.

"Mea Culpas" ? Why bother interviewing him, I don't get it.

To be fair, we all indulge your brain droppings. The least you can do is indulge those of a former NYG coach.
