Actually make on the offense? Every one mentions Daboll when it comes to Allen and the offense. No one gives credit to McDermott. So, if Daboll gets the job, being a HC doesn’t run the offense. Of course he will have some impact. However, the new OC will be the difference maker.
This is a crap shoot.
I don't know about that. Let's see how the draft shakes out.
But even if they give Jones next year, I wouldn't rule out a QB in next year's draft either.
I do think he could be another Eli, with the right supporting cast, (and some serious mental re-adjustments) - that ain't bad.
But, if you're expecting Daboll to be the wizard that waved the magic wand over Jones (and make him top-tier) is setting yourself up for heartbreak.
Flores, I think, has a better sense of what Jones is capable of (just like he did with Tua) and build a team around him that can start to win consistently.
Exactly. The jets have a head coached who was a very good defensive coordinator and the jets defense was rated last this season.
This is a crap shoot.
100%
When its the head coach's offense, he is the real OC. The guy with the OC title is not running the offense
