Two of the best Ranger Goalies hanging up! Richter and Sir Henrik.
The great part about this is, we/I got to witness many games and some solid championship teams when both were at the helm in the goalie department.
Sir Henrik, while not quite the star I used to see in Richter years ago, played for years at a high level comparable to Richter and deserves to be one of the greats hanging up with the others (as mentioned). He won us some great games in key moments and made NYR hockey fun to watch.
Go Rangers!
What's with BBI saying Richter was better than Lundqvist
You poll 100 people who have seen both 99 time will say Lundqvist was better. There's no argument beyond Richter's cup with a team much better than any Lundqvist has played on.

For me, it's bias from when I grew up watching hockey starting in the late 80's. Put Henry on those teams and he would have done equally as well and if not better. He wasn't on those teams so well never know : )
Unfortunately, the team couldn't bring home a cup during his time here.
