1st Schoen, then Daboll and now Dorsey. Do you think all 3 would leave the Bills if they did not believe in Jones. My belief, you will now see an extension. They will build a quality OL and hopefully see more of Jones from the 1st year with less TO’s. I know some people’s heads on here are about to explode but I am very excited for the future of this football team. GO a BLUE!!!

Yes, Mara hiring Yes Men. If the Giants give Jones a 5th year I will scream unless he proves himself big time in 2023. Mara loves Jones because he is a good young man, not because he is a good QB.
By mid-season Dave Brown was finished as a starter in the NFL. This feels like history repeating itself.

Right, and then they can have the beat writers asking them the same questions over and over every day, allowing the media to drive all sorts of narratives. Or you can just say “he’s got a lot of talent and we can’t wait to work with him” even if that’s not really what they believe. But that can’t be as coaches and executives always share the unvarnished truth at all times. You are clearly a savvy communications professional.

I would rather see him in there next season, (with competition for QB)
and see OL come with this draft.
Who knows what they will do, however even ownership I am sure grasp that this team has to block!

Okay, look this is simple. We just did a complete overhaul of the GM and coaching staff. This is what 85% of this board wanted. New people in to evaluate the talent or lack of talent on this team. Fix what is wrong coach and help the under achievers and get rid of the trash. We have a GM and HC who are on the same page. Let us believe they see things that others on this board don’t and the can get this fixed sooner rather than later.

This! They don't love Jones, they love the promotions and raises they're getting. Besides, they're not going to throw their potential starting QB under the bus, they're going to say all the right things. The Bears coaches all loved Trubisky...until they didn't.
