Anyone else get their supply charge hiked from 6-7 cents the last year to 14 cents this month?? And to not even give their customers warning at some point this month so we could make an adjustment to propane or more heating oil or whatever?
I assume this is legal but doesn’t seem right. Maybe I’m missing something. Wasn’t even that cold a January. I know inflation is out of control but it’s not 120% bad….
I moved to NJ from Queens over the summer but before I left, I think I remember them mentioning an increase. So glad I don’t have to deal with Con Ed anymore…such a rip off. PSE&G here is about half what my bill used to be in Queens where I was living in an apartment, vs now owning a home.
Jacking up rates in one month by 120% and without any advance warning to your customers is not OK under any circumstance.
