My only point is the defense under Graham has been pretty good for 2 years, while having to support a terrible offense and without an elite pass rusher, with a very Good MLB on injured reserve and mostly no name LB corp. It's not a stretch to say with a couple pieces added and a better offense, the defense can potentially still be good.
elite Edge Rushers, run stuffing DTs, shut down DBs, side line to side line tackling machine LBs who can cover TEs/RBs with 4.4 speed and a few ball hawking safeties away from being a top 5 defense!

Hey JC sure that makes sense. It'll be interesting to see how many changes are made for sure. I do feel like some people here (not you) are at the stage of throwing out the baby with the bathwater though... lol. I mean we still have to field a team. They can't jettison and/or trade everyone... lol. We are still going to have some decent players on D. It's a good point on Wink though... not sure if we have the pieces he needs for his scheme enough to not take a step back.
Between cutting guys because of the cap and the young players we're going to sign just to fill out the roster, they are going to suck and I can't wait. If Schoen is who we think he is, giving him two years of decent draft capital and the cap space he's going to free up -- they should make some noise in 2023. In the meantime, I'll be in my seats watching the young guys learn the game.

Get ready for more losing until the rebuild is well under way. Think 2023 or 2024 at the earliest. If they have to dump Daniel Jones, it is going to take longer.
If? Dumping Jones is the first thing they should do.
And replace him with who? Certainly no QB in the upcoming draft. Not to mention, anyone they replace him with would have done no better playing behind this crappy OL.
