Alright, let’s get this thing rolling. While we are starting early, the clock won’t officially start until
Monday, April 4th at 9am. The draft will run from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday until the start of the NFL Draft (Thursday, April 28th) or the completion of the 6th round. Please remember to use the DISCUSSION thread so we can keep this thread uncluttered.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two-hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm timeframe. If the two-hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (e.g. Kansas City won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year).
If a GM misses a pick AND fails make some form of contact with me (either via email, posting on the draft DISCUSSION thread, or providing me with a prospect list) prior to their next pick, they will have just 15 minutes to make their next selection. With two consecutive missed picks, their spot will be forfeited and reassigned to one of the BBIers who have expressed an interest to fill the vacancy.
If you expect to miss a pick, please send me your draft board and I will make the selection on your behalf.
Per usual, we will also hold an undrafted free agency process that will start immediately after the final pick of RD6. Anyone who wants to participate can select up to 5 UDFAs. Selections are made on a first come, first serve basis. (I’m not making any additional changes to this process, so please don’t ask.)
Please utilize the
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet. The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-6) by team and GM with a fairly comprehensive list based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible… Good luck!

Jamaree Salyer
Offensive Lineman, Guard, from Georgia
Kyle Philips, WR/RS, UCLA
Cam Jurgens, IOL, Nebraska
Four-time state champ in the discus, three-time state champ in the shot put. Joined Nebraska as a 4-star 245 lb TE prospect before transitioning to OC. He became the first freshman in Cornhusker history to start a game at OC. Needs some refinement in his technique (can get overextended) but he's as explosive and twitched-up an athlete as there is in this IOL class. Jurgens can pull wide and get deep into the second and third levels of the defense. His strength and athleticism were on full display at the Combine: 4.92 40yd (3rd among OL) and 25 reps. Similar to Linderbaum and Strange, he is a bit light (6'3 303lbs), so he may need to add another 5-10lbs.
"He's smart. He’s extremely athletic. And he’s exceptionally explosive. He’s still, in some ways, learning the position. He didn’t play it until last season, but he’s got the skill set to be really, really special at that position.” - Nebraska head coach, Scott Frost
