My draft this year is beyond fearless, maybe reckless, but possibly the biggest Giants QB gamble/opportunity since YA Tittle came over from the 49ers - who I’m talking about is Liberty’s Malik Willis. If the Lions don’t snag him up, he’s too good to pass up. ( All this, despite the John Mara “we’re committed to giving Daniel Jones a chance” talk). Willis will be on the shelf for a year to watching, but after that - look out ! The team has recently brought in Tyrod Taylor as a place holder; while the coaching staff grooms the next true FRANCHISE QB.
The Giants are obviously in a FULL-blown rebuild year, where NOBODY is safe, not Saquon, Bradberry, etc. So ….why not dump the most expensive paycheck (in Jones)?
If the Lions do take Willis, this sets up well to take their choice of the two most coveted offensive tackles in the draft - Evan Neal or Ickey Ekwonu, to begin fixing the mess, which is their offensive line.
The next piece is Georgia’s defensive tackle Jordan “godzilla” Davis. I know, many around here are all worked up about getting a first tier Edge, but as the old saying goes - “100 ways to skin a cat”. Besides being a run-stopping brick wall, he is a QB pocket crusher. If the opposing QB can’t step-up comfortably into the pocket, he’ll be running for his life (a VERY good thing for our defense).
Toward the bottom of the board, a player who just screams pure physical ability is the edge from Oklahoma, Isaiah Thomas.

Two for one...good pick!

You watched this team the past 5 years, and honestly think this is what they should do to build for the future?
Im genuinely curious if this is an attempt to just be contrarian, or is this how you would run the draft this year? No judgements here btw..just interested to know.
Put Neal in and we have a complete draft
Hope you are doing well!
I seen three young QBs this year excel behind LOUSY O-lines ...
Allen with the Bills, Burrow with the Bengals on television and one live (the Charger's Herbert). Herbert was forced to take 15-17 step drops against the Giants, and he still poked holes in our defense, at will.
I'd absolutely love to have an outstanding O-line, but this year convinced me that you can win with just an adequate one, if you have a true franchise QB -
Thus my priority - Willis, if he's gone one of the top two O- line tackles.
As far as the huge tackle; he reminds me of the Eagles' Jordan Mailata.
He's my solution for RT; all 6'8", 387 pounds of him (35 3/8" arms, 86 1/4" wingspan) Here's another write-up of him ...

Who are you trading for that top 50 pick?
Curious about the Likely pick (as opposed to the two UNlikely picks at 5 and 7). Why Likely? Which other TEs did you pass on to take him? Can’t say I’ve watched a lot of Coastal Carolina games.
A project QB at 5 and at 7 a two down DT who not only doesn't play a premium position but may not even be the best Georgia DT in the class.
Out of the thousand or so mocks I've seen across the internet by fans and "experts" this is truly the worst I've seen.

The giants had the WORST OL but in addition how many healthy
Quality WR's played for them this year

So the GM who built the WORST OL and couldn't find a single healthy WR for his team somehow got his QB choice correct?
That's still the theory the DJFC is clinging to?

It's often been said you have to wait 2-3 years before truly grading a draft.
So you'll have to wait until around 2025 to give Manny that "F"...
That's still the theory the DJFC is clinging to?"
Well that's an improvement and certainly better than your post about two men giving oral sex under a desk, but it would be nice if you said something positive for once and managed to write more than two tense sentences... Silly me, guys like you can't write about content, put downs is your fare and your only fare. And if you ever did reach out and tried to contribute, you might be confronted with the same debasing negativity you offer.

I'm just impressed that you managed to spell "Gatorade" correctly, you fucking nitwit.
Great draft.
