No evidence they’ve had time to put that plan in place yet. One of many reasons I’m on the fence here. Some people are just throwing out any possible sign of “this means it’s fixed”
I’m more like we need to gather a lot more data. Why can’t it just be enough that these hires just look way better than the last ones without needing to draw all these lines that they are already getting things fixed. If they do it will take time IMO and we are still dealing with the biggest unknown. The level of their autonomy and if it’s a lot how long it exists for

No (I don't, I'll let Art speak for himself). Area scouts have been extended or told they'll be back. Schoen expected to bring in colleagues from his previous stops in Buffalo and Miami to replace O'Brien & Pettit.
Didn't Schoen bring in the scouts to meet with him in person and go over their reports early in the offseason? I think there were reports to the effect that it hadn't happened previously with the Giants (which is insane, but in hindsight, makes sense for how dysfunctional they were).
In listening to Schoen's interviews, he said they would pop on tape and go over with the coaches and scouts what they saw and got alignment that they all agreed on the same things. That he's retaining the scouts tells you that Schoen feels comfortable with the legwork that they were doing and agreed with their reports/approach. It would appear that he put the blame on the layers of management between the scouts and Gettleman.

You’ve got me here. 100% I’d sign up for this a year ago. I’m just unwilling to say anything more then there are ample signs we are going in the right direction but this is a long road. And we just don’t know how it will play out. And as I just said in a different post. Even if JS has tons of autonomy right now (and that’s an unknown) we don’t know how long that will last

The Giants were in cap hell, and by most accounts, Abrams was following orders on the structure of the contracts. If you go back to the 2021 offseason, he said at the time that the cap was going to be a problem in 2022, but they had a plan and it would clear up for 2023. So if you are Schoen, the old adage "don't boil the ocean" comes to mind. He can't fix everything all at once, so you do it in pieces. He got thru the draft and moved out the old management. I'd imagine that once the cap is sorted out and they get into 2023, we would see Abrams wished well sometime later on, just a guess.
That would be too sweet.

I believe at the Combine with Joe Schoen speaking, and Chris Pettit had that look of someone who is on the outside looking in. He was in the room with Joe Schoen, but he looked like he wasn't. If you know what I mean.

This is a positive move. But there was a MAJOR front office shake-up in June 2018 too. Hopefully, this works out far better.

The expectations all season included the following:
-Mara would promote Abrams and keep Judge.
-Mara would force an outside GM on Judge for a half measure.
-Mara would force the HC hire on Schoen (Flores).
-Mara would require Schoen to exercise Jones 5th year option.
-Mara would not allow wholesale front office changes.
Well, none of that has happened. Schoen was able to hire Brandon Brown and get rid of Pettit. I don’t see how anyone can be annoyed with the state of the Giants right now. Will it work? I don’t know, but change is happening.
I took almost all of those stances. And that's because I don't trust Mara. So, I wasn't going to believe anything until I saw it.
I find it a bit strange that you would be so willing to give Mara the benefit of the doubt with his recent history.
They stayed because they had already seen the board and they could do less damage inside the building (with no direct authority) than if they were out in the wild, and presumably scorned.
