I didn’t think Brady would be in the booth, I never got that feel from him. And admittedly I’m less of a Brady hater than others (beating him twice for sure helps that). Thought he was good in the manningcast thing.
The money must be absolutely bananas. Fox needed a big splash after all the movements and this is It.
Also, btwn him and his wife he doesn’t have to work a day anymore. He was retired for 3 months and had enough of his wife and kids. Godspeed.
how guys will do in the booth. I hated John Madden when he was a coach. Seemed like a big, unkempt, humorless guy. Always crying about something on the sideline. Never would have guessed he'd become a lovable legend.
Not once has the person calling the game impacted whether or not I tune in. I don't think a single person cares about that. These on-air talent deals are crazy.
I'm not convinced ANYONE really likes Tom Brady as a person/personality.
So, you emphasize that no one likes Brady by putting it in capital letters so everyone is really clear that you don't believe ANYONE likes Tom as a person.
However, I have personally met Tom at several charity events (Vince Wilfork's draft day party and Best Buddies events around the Pan Mass challenge) and I don't know any stars well and have no connections with other personalities other than events like this but I can tell you from my limited experience Tom is a very personable, friendly, approachable and seems like a genuine good person. He took time to thank each and every participant wasn't annoyed by the autograph hounds, took pictures with people, listened to people talk - he just seemed like a regular guy - not the greatest QB to ever play (or one in the conversation)
I am not as critical or supportive as some people of broadcasters (I'm pretty indifferent), but I bet Tom is really good at this.
kinda milquetoast and boring on the surface if you ask me, sometimes hard to get a read on sincerity. Don't take offense if you're from the area, just some old impressions from when I lived there.

He's fine but I never felt like he'd be good in the booth where it was obvious for someone like Peyton.
Holy shit

I know it’s Brady but that’s just a mind blowing amount.

They are counting on big advertising sponsorships to follow along.
Better than Romo or Aikman.

JFC, that is insane for someone completely unproven at the craft.
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr...what an incredible life.
I am sure like everything else he will put the effort in to be the best.
If he was a D bag....nobody would play for him. I look forward to his commentating and insight. He should should as a QB this season.
How much is Robert Kraft kicking in as part of his under the table payment deal with Brady?
