However, I don't think "tricking" is the correct word to describe what the Giants are doing now. They're not tricking anyone by acting like a competent, smartly-run organization trying to overcome ten years of bad decisions, financial mismanagement, etc. "Surprising" would have been a better word, in my opinion, especially if you were expecting them to stay the Gettleman course.
