It's a LH pitcher.
Cahna is hitting like a 2 hitter.
This lineup is so deep it's hard to find an early spot for everyone. If anything I'd put McNeil 9th
I missed that....I hope he stays on track with no more issues, but I don't think it is realistic.
Can't find anything on this...some kind of side session I suppose.
that was procedural to make room for the guy they claimed (from STL?) it's still retro to when he was placed on IR and doesn't impact his time frame (assuming all goes well).
LOL!

Trading McNeil is just as dumb as dumping so much money into analytics just to not use analytics. Old school baseball, baby!
LOL!
please don't summon him from his sleep.
also leading the team in fwar.
probably a good time to buy out some FA years from him and Alonso (both overagers).
i dont hate joely. id still do that trade. Castro is fools gold. he has his highest walk rate of his career so far this year so it's only a matter of time before his season goes south.

At least gets us that

Neither do I. Mets seem like their poised to kill his arm in the first half of the year, so just remembering the good times lol
This is everything we've ever wanted as Mets fans.
So much for that bs report.
Felt like the offense was sleep walking and we still won 4-2 like it was nothing.
Awesome.
Did you see the baserunning tonight? Old school fundamental baseball like it used to be
Pete has half his hits the other way. McNeil going the other way and up the middle. Old school fundamental baseball
And Syndergaard takes a shot at the Mets after it "this is what a "real" no-hitter looks like"
not sure why the need to stir shit up, and it's not like he pitched it either.
Not sure who would be available at the deadline but I'm hoping thats what we're looking for (oh and Jake would be a nice addition too... lol)

But Reid Detmers just through a no-hitter for Angels versus Tampa Bay

hes a loser. does he still think he's thor?
Escobar is notoriously a bit of a streaky hitter. I would not mind dumping Dominic Smith for a middle of the order 1B/LF type and use Alonso as primary DH but also have the ability to rest Canha.
I still have some hope J.D. Davis can be a real DH, he hits righties; just has to lay off the heater upstairs.
But Martinez would be a great addition.
Yes, Buck making all the right moves so far; playing everyone, not burning out the pull-pen, etc.

Here’s the article; he sounds like a whiny ex-lover, lol. You got paid a ton of money and are pitching well, move the fuck on, dude….
Move on, dude - ( New Window )
never a great idea to burn a bridge with the richest owner in the sport.
But first you give Dom and JD a chance too see what they can do
Still, in the NL the Mets are:
* 1st in hits
* 1st in OBP
* 2nd in BA
* 3rd in R
* 4th in TB
* 4th in RBI
* 4th in OPS
* 5th in BB
I think they're all right. Can't get TOO greedy.

Record is great but this team has a lot of trouble scoring runs. Definitely needs more production at third base.

Cmon..
Way too early to be talking like this, are you guys/girls following the rest of the teams in this league? Do you not see how many proven players are not hitting right now.
Baseball is a summer sport, that's when everyone and their abilities meet their capabilities. Lets have this conversation again mid July.
Personally I think both Dom and Davis pop off pretty soon.
Bullpen depth is a definite need tho.
Eppler's last first round pick for them.

It's not like Dom and Davis have a long track record that says they will suddenly pop off. As someone who has been teased with Escobar in the past in fantasy, he is the type of guy who will hit 1 or 2 HR in a month then explode for 12 the next. He is getting on base and not hitting into DP which is important. I am more concerned about Canha as he had injuries and has only played 127 or more games once in his career. 2 XBH in 23 games (79 AB's) is worse than Luis Guillorme territory. Guillorme is at 4 XBH in 18 games (40 AB's).
