It would leave a really bad lasting impression for this season if they go out without a fight tonight. Win this game and show some pride. I can accept a first round loss. But the effort last game was simply unacceptable.
but I think we are shot. We seemed lost and I have no reason to believe it will change just because it is two days later and we switched ice. The last 5 of 6 periods has been disgraceful (maybe 4 of 6 as period 1 in game 4 wasn't that bad).

You are correct Essex, but IMO the gap is effort which maybe makes it worse, not sure. But I strongly believe NYR are a better team, and I believe effort is easier to fix than talent. Which is why I still believe the Rangers win the series.
we you start seeing so many goals being deflected in front for goals it tells you that you are not selling out enough to win these games. These are playoff games you have to fight not give up goals. No one cares how many time you beat this team in the regular season, you need to win every period tonight. If they do not want to do what it takes to win they will get what they deserve. Get it back to Pittsburgh and who knows what happens. One period at a time.

seriously though, I still believe the Rangers win this series.

My restraining order doesn't mention it.
DeAngelo: 8 points in 5 playoff games
Buchnevich - 4 points in 5 playoff games
I was really surprised the Rangers didn't look to re-acquire Miller. he'd be a perfect fit as 2C or even 1C.
54% on the dots, 100 points, not afraid to hit, has leadership qualities.
Good season though.

I thought they did but either the asking price was too high or Vancouver wasn't willing to move him since they had a nice run under Boudreau.

Early boost hopefully.
Just kidding they are running with 7 D.
Give me players who will care

This defense is atrocious right now. Standing, chasing, no positional discipline. Miller looked like he was on a string during that goal sequence
The offensive structure is nowhere to be found.
No one crashing the net, no bodies in front.
