Well, he has not been hit in this series. And basically he has been a lot more physical with the Rangers than they have been with him.

Trouba was the unsung hero of that game.

On the ice for 4 of the 5 Rangers goals (I don't think he was on for the Chytil goal) put the hit on Crosby to knock him out of the game, double shifts when Lindgren needs a shift off playing the off-hand D with Fox (to avoid Nemeth having to play a regular shift) and hits everything in sight.

I love Lafreniere and hated to see the NYR fans opinions of him much of this season, but if it's up to me (it's not lol) Trouba is the captain of that team.

Kakko has so many little things well. I get the criticism but he is a valuable player.

Agreed with pj on Trouba. Made a lot of great defensive plays, scored that goal, etc.

I'm not saying he was perfect of course he wasn't, but if you watch this goal and feel like Trouba not clearing Crosby out distracted Igor then it seems like you are searching for things to blame on Trouba. Igor was slow getting to the post.

That was Igor's fault more than anyone IMO

Trouba is a stud. If you’re complaining about him after this game we aren’t watching the same thing

I see Pittsburgh coach writers and fans claiming the Trouba hit was dirty or questionable


I did t think so after watching the tape.
