BBI takeover in Nashville?

Route 9 : 5/13/2022 7:13 am
But seriously who the hell ISN'T going to this game in September? We should have a tailgate.

We did it in Jacksonville in 2014 and Carolina in 2018. If anyone is setting something up, I want in.
I was in town the weekend of the Biuffalo game last year

If it's not his first day of school the following Monday, we may go.

Additional kicker - Vandy has a home game the day before v Wake Forest. SEC and NFL back to back!

I plan on going, so I look forward to the takeover!
I don't know if anyone's been in a while,
rnargi : 5/13/2022 7:59 am : link
but Nashville is awesome but the hotel prices are INSANE. If you plan to go, book now. I'm not kidding.

Everything about the city is awesome. It has something for everyone, from the latest to the oldest country music, outstanding museums, incredible food...and a great vibe. My favorite places are Robert's Western World and Tootsies, but I'm an old fart so sue me. I like the old honkey tonk. Also, if you're going, you have to go to the Bluebird or a show at Ryman Auditorium. Again, check the schedules NOW and book them.
Be careful, guys.

I rented a house there over Xmas break and loved that City. Had so much fun and was at the Music City Bowl with Purdue vs Tennessee.
No kidding on costs

You can also look at Air bnb's too. Lotsaround Vanderbilt and Belmont, which are less than 2 miles from the Broadway bar district. The airport is really close to downtown as well so you can stay out there.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been there before but it was the late 90s.

should hold things like the combine at Nashville, although facilities and venues are probably constrained.

You know we'll have the tailgate going. You and everyone else are welcome. We can try and coordinate with any one else who's tailgating and make it a Giants takeover. If anyone has a suggestion on where to set up together let us know. Haven't started that side of the research yet.

Recommend going the VRBO route. Costs were totally fine for us - we had a bunch of couples sharing bedrooms. Came out to $340 a head for three nights. I think it was a 4 bedroom. House was really nice with a deck and a hot tub. Stayed across the river from Broadway in East Nashville - real close to the stadium.
Just booked my flights

Clarion Hotel, Downtown Nashville- near stadium
Just booked
Massgman : 5/13/2022 3:14 pm : link
$720 for3 nights……….2 mile walk to the stadium
I guess it depends on the direction but...
D HOS : 5/13/2022 6:07 pm : link
Mostly the area around that stadium seemed pretty nice when I was there though I didn't take the tour. But I had been to downtown Nashville before and it was very cool.

I went back when it was LP stadium and on that day the weather was beautiful, lower end zone seats could see everything perfectly, walking from easy nearby parking to the stadium was nice, they close off a bridge and highway for a bit on game day so it was an easy approach with a friendly crowd, typical hawkers along the way but they were cool too. I have been to only a couple of NFL stadiums including old meadowlands, georgia dome, mercedes, old shea, and then LP. Been to a variety of MLB as well, and that day at LP in Nashville was about as nice an experience as I ever had, excepting the Gmen home turf advantage.

I am really looking forward to going back for our opener.

In fact I think I shall get a jersey made up with a D HOS name plate just to be obvious. What number... What number... I guess it depends on if I have to buy it from Gano or Feagles or whomever. I can afford about $27 max for rights to the number over top of the jersey cost.

For the year I joined up as a fan. The fact that Tommer is one of my fav players is just cake. If I ever meet him you know like hanging out at the local hobby shop he can tell me I owe him 27 bucks.
Freaking love this place.
BigBlue in Keys : 5/14/2022 12:46 am : link
Jvm thanks for the reco, just booked in there too. Best rate around and 10 min walk to the stadium. We'll have to meet up for some drinks... Adam Look forward to seeing you again and sounds like a bunch of the ATL crew is coming through, can't freaking wait.

If this means I don't have to hear a single second of a Cardi B or Fall Out Boy song, I can live with that.
