maybe that is going overboard and, I have to admit I don't remember it when I bet I watched this originally. The magic of you tube and revision history ...
"I'm the boy's uncle, I don't have a right to ask..." LOL as if he really cares and then the song with the random goings on outside .. they did a great job with the production of the show and what was otherwise pretty limited actors.
Anyway, enjoy....
Tony Teases Janice - (
New Window )
- Ralphie's bait and switch (she was a heyor) outside with the guardrail
- Pussy's fate on the boat
- makings of a Varsity athlete
- Christopher's shooting
- the retaliation for that shooting
- Phil getting shot in the head
- killing the rat on the college trip
- Chris sitting on the dog
but besides some of the classics already mentioned (including just about every scene with Uncle June) for many reasons this was one of my favorite scene in the entire series.
Tony running from the FBI at Johnny Sack's.

"House looked like shit."
All these problems, the Middle East...the end of the world.

Oh, right Notredamus.
NOSTRAdamus.
LMAO.

is the scene where Carmalla told Tony she fanatasized about Floria and the tense argument that followed. I thought tha was such a great scene. You didn't know what Tony was going to do. Great acting by both.
***Florio
Mike Florio was never on the Sopranos. I believe the guy you're thinking of was Fueriou (sp)

Spelling error- Furio, Tony's driver
Plus1. It was the best.
Beat me to it.
Crazy good episode...

Carmela's face when he says, "Don't make me make you an accessory after the fact....stop asking" is hilarious.
The she reflects and says, "That...was not a marriage made in Heaven."
Personally, these Paulie scenes come to mind.
Paulie explains tying his shoes
Paulie discussing the extinction of the dinosaurs ("wasn't it a meteor?" "THEY'RE ALL MEATEATERS!)
When he explains about Pergatory.
"How long do we have to stay in pergatory?"
" I don't know... it's different for everybody. You take your mortal sins multiply times 50, then you take your Vania sins you multiply times 25. Me I figure I've got about six thousand years before I enter the kingdom of heaven."
Also, loved the scene where he and another enforcer show up at Christopher’s friends’ place to get Tony’s tribute from a score. Then he extorts an extra grand from them, and laughs in their faces.
Furio was an excellent character who was given too little to do on the show.

Yea Bevilaqua....then Furio says Italian, "these two suck each others d___" Also a great scene.
Zelenskyy sopranos - ( New Window )
One of the best scenes for sure. She was really a good person but we all wanted Tony to squash that guy.
My favorite scene (spoiler alert): Jackie JR tries to earn some respect by robbing the card game, he and his buddies lose their cool and start shooting, they run but the getaway car is gone, Jackie makes it but his buddy is left standing in the street where Christopher ends up sneakily behind him to take him out, followed by the car pulling up perfectly with a screaming Furio for Christopher to jump in. I thought that was a great scene illustrating the how different the wannabes (Jackie jr and crew) were from the real made guys.
goomba is a guy
his goomad
This is the standout for me. Classic

"How was Florida?"
"Hot and sticky....like my balls"
Why does the Wire have to get brought up when we're talking about the Sopranos? Not just you really but we get it. The Wire was your guy's show back at the time Sopranos took over the world. We get it.
I did watch the finale the date it aired to see what would go down. I don't like shows taking years off from filming either.
I know it's because of COVID but I couldn't give a shit less what happens on Stranger Things .... because I don't even remember what happened because it was like 4 years ago lol
Also really liked the story line with Juliane Margolis and Chris sliding from herbal medicine back to junk.
Of all the worthless scumbags, and of course they were all worthless scumbags, Chris might have been the most sleazy and irredeemable of them all. Zero good qualities. The scene where T kills him, with The Departed soundtrack’s Comfortably Numb prelude might have been the high water of the entire series.
Speaking of Van the Man playing the Sopranos, the scene where Tony kills Tony B is also terrific. Glad Tidings indeed.
Best American TV series ever. Nothing really even close. Especially when you hold all the other contenders to the rest of time and rewatching. Sopranos still delivers, the rest do not.
I’m in the couldn’t get into it category myself. But I can’t sit through any mob show or movie. I acknowledge that sopranos,godfathers,etc.. are great films/shows, well made, great casts and all. I’ve seen most of the movies for various reasons and thought they were really good but would rather watch or do something else. Now documentaries on this subject I’ll watch the shit out of and have since I was a kid.
like Ozark and Game of thrones.
