I thought remembered previous coaches saying they purposely fed them "from a fire hose" to gauge how quickly they picked up new concepts.
Is the current strategy different or are they talking about 2 different things?
Not sure, but it's interesting that Daboll sounds a lot like Bill Walsh in his book "Finding the Winning Edge." It's a great book and at one time was impossible to get (might still be).
Anyways, Walsh spends an entire chapter on why you can't really count on rookies too much, particularly early on, because they need to learn even the basic things such as living on their own, getting around the building, adjusting their bodies as they turn from 23 to 24 and 25 years old, etc.
I was worried about Corker once Yankee28 brought it up. The double numbers are confusing.

Could not help but notice TE @bellinger_12 at #Giants rookie minicamp. At 6-5 and 250+, he's cut out of stone and already known as a blocker - but he showed terrific ball skills in receiving drills, highlighted by a one-handed stab. He sounds eager to show the full toolbox.🏈

Same here, I was concerned that he suffered a serious injury already and as usual Y28 was the first one to discover it. IMO Corker is the biggest lock to make the team among the UDFA's.

This kid is going to be a very good TE for the Giants. I think that he will start week one. The Giants were very lucky that he was still on the board in round 4.

A Football Life Bill Walsh (see beginning for discussion on book) - ( New Window )
Did he practice today?
Don't want to hear the "I" word this early. Especially at Safety

Yankee, he was in this picture on the far right with all of the rookies.

want to know why our new Safety Yusuf Corker #21 is not in the team photo.

Jay, that's Antonio Williams. Blue jersey is offense.

Apologies.
