looks like a loser. Keuchel always gave the Yanks problem with his 78 mph pitches... I have an idea - do not swing at anything Keuchel throws. Just stand there until he gets two over the plate.
Typical Monty game, he will get no run support.
and without that the Yanks don't score at all in the ninth.
Then he stole second. On the play where he got thrown out, the saying is: don't make the first or the third out at third base.
He didn't do either; he was aggressive trying to get to third with one out. Looks bad when it doesn't work but far from the worst blunder.
I appreciate having a guy at the bottom of the order who is looking to hit off a closer throwing 100 mph rather than having his bat on shoulder hoping for a walk.
Indeed, the guy can't process the game well, he has a 10 cent brain to be honest. Let some other team have him moving forward.
I doubt he will get big money now.
He has a 2 year deal, but an opt-out after this season.
If he puts up big numbers, Yanks are going to have to pay more than the 16 mill. AAV, is my guess.

Who would take him and his $15 mill salary...I think I trust him less than Green...actually a lot less. Green throws strikes, a few go a long way backward.

.
I was really talking about the offseason with Chapman.
Somebody will sign him for a lot less money, unless he
had like a great postseason, the Yanks haven't seen that.
If they bring Green back, I would guess a one year deal?
Some team might give Green a 3 year deal, who knows?
Like the team north of NYC, for example?

Right now Green would be the closer for the team NE of New York...
Neither Chapman or Britton will be back in 2023, IMHO.

I know. I'm really feeling this team though. I haven't been this confident in a Yankee team in a long time.
The Yanks always seem to have one SP who they give NO run support to. Looks like its Monty’s turn this season.

It's been 2 straight seasons though. It's strangely bizarre at this point.
Fuck you Joe Kelly.
2-1
+1
Tying run on 3rd and 1 out--Donaldson needs to put the ball in play.
It's go time now.
2-2
He is less than Marco Estrada.

Thairo? I like Estrada. IKF is much faster and a bit better glove. Estrada is a better bat.
weak inning by Chapman
and how did Rizzo not get that?
