Watching those highlights just shows you how terrible Judge/Garrett's
offenses were. Don't tell me Jones has no talent. With a new offensive line and a new toy in Robinson, plus new coaching, if he's not injured I'll be shocked if he doesn't have at least a decent season. Doesn't mean he can't be improved on but the guy we saw with Jason Garrett is not the same guy as we saw in 2019.
the last 2 years Slayton was being asked to do things he's not good at (catches in traffic, etc). He runs 3 routes well. Deep post, fly, and deep out. Asking him to do anything else will cause poor execution and result in a LOT more drops.
Despite all of the rumors and speculation. Will he make the final 53 after the Summer dust settles? Your guess is as good as mine. But if they don't feel he's got a future on the team, then I hope they can find a trade partner and move him.
