NFT: Looking For Vet Advice In Long Island

My 10 year old golden needs to have surgery for a non cancerous lump inside his anus. We almost took him to Dr. Carver in West Islip but the reviews are absolutely atrocious. Thank god I checked. Anyone have any good vets they trust/recommend within a half hour of Oyster Bay? Thanks in advance!

but I use St. Francis Hospital for Animals on Montauk Highway in Oakdale.

I've used Veterinary Medical Center of LI in West Islip, but only in emergency situations.

There is also Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center of Westbury, but I haven't taken a pet there in many years. We had a beagle who was epileptic, and her neurologist worked out of that location.

when our George was in his olden days and dealing with cancer. Dr. Linderman and their staff were wonderful and caring to the very end. Can't recommend them enough and they are 24 hours.

Towne Line Vet in Hauppauge

We've always gone to Dr Corso when he was at Sachem Animal hospital and followed him to Towne Line. Not many people in any walk of life that I would recommend more.

All Creatures in Long Beach and East Rockaway Vet Hospital. Both are top notch and have gone above and beyond for me when I've needed help.

Only reason I use both is that East Rockaway isn't open on Sunday's and so we used All Creatures and were thrilled. Would be happy with either of these.
