You going over or under? I was shooting the shit @ work with a pal-big KC fan-& we both initially said over, but thinking more on it...that means he wins 2 more titles. Yes, he's very young & obviously uber talented, but I look at Rodgers & Brees...two contemporaries of him who only have won 1 Lombardi. He's also playing in a staked conference w/ Burrow, Herbert, Watson, Jackson, & now Wilson.
I probably still lean over, but I wouldn't put any cheddar down on it.
Even with a great qb, a suit ton has to go right especially once the qb is off the rookie deal.
What Brady accomplished was remarkable.
I really wish we could move away from judging QBs from the number of rings they have. It's a team game. What more could Josh Allen possibly have done in that game against KC?
I take the under.
There is also Russell Wilson. And if Watson captures his old form, then he's in the mix.
Imagine, if Zach Wilson, Trevor Lawrence and even Mac Jones work out...
Oh, the AFCW is loaded.
I think it's going to be tough to even get to one more, let alone win it or two more.
Is there a Luke Jackson no one knows about? Haha. Cause surely you don’t mean Lamar. Dude was average at best last year, has regressed every year since his MVP, coming off a pretty bad injury, and still can’t throw.
Ravens would be smart to let him walk instead of killing their cap space.
I take the under.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Reid couldn’t win big gasmes with the Eagles and he hasn’t improved. He just got lucky once. Can he get lucky twice more?
Might take the under, though.
The Chiefs have had a 4 year run as the most consistently good team in football and have “only” won it all once. Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre combined for how many playoff appearances and MVPs to only win 2 in total?
The answer is clearly the under. Can Mahomes catch magic in a bottle and win 3+? Definitely within the realm of possibility but the odds are against him.
But Mahomes is so good. But like bw said, the AFC is just loaded with great QBs sans Lamar - haha
I do enjoy watching him and cant wait for the Giants to incorporate some of that O into our system. I think the huge contract will be the ultimate downfall for the Chiefs. Having less talent and competing hard to get every win will take its toll. 1 more Superbowl not 2.
Could see it either way, but having that good young o line in place... give me the over.

The bad news is the AFC is loaded with great young QBs - LJax.

I'll give you that LJax slipped last year. He was definitely forcing it before he got hurt.
And it is an interesting point that Baltimore should consider letting him walk. I get the idea because LJax has not been able to get his regular season performance to convey to the playoffs and there is a high-risk factor to his game.
But he's done more than enough in his short career to justify calling him one of the best players in the NFL. LJax is a football player playing QB and he is one of the two best two-way QBs (with Allen) in the NFL.
With Tyreek Hill gone, he'll need to develop into a better QB to achieve the same level of success.
Against the very best of defenses, I feel that he's had to rely too much on his physical skillset to make things happen.
The other big names seemingly do it to an extent too, but Mahomes IMO did it more than others. So while it's very exciting to watch when it works, when it doesn't, it looks pretty bad.
Best thing going for him is his popularity with the league and fans. Will help him get favorable calls when needed.
We'll see what happens.
Under.
