The Jets took Breece Hall in Rd 2. They have Michael Carter who was a 4th rd pick last year who had an ok first year:
147 rush for 639 yards 4 rush tds, 36 catches on 55 targets for 325 yrds no tds. 1 fumble.
How do you think the Jets will distribute the touches this year between the two? What round are you considering taking Hall in a standard league? PPR?
My early sleeper is Montgomery- I think he is a top 10 back this year.
I wouldn't. Really don't see how he can be taken before the 3rd but maybe that changes once we see camp and preseason. Its never to early to talk fantasy, but it is for rookies in most cases.
Obviously we are a ways out and a lot can change, but right now, absolutely no way. Hard to trust rookies to begin with, and the Jets seemed be fairly high on Carter last year. Tevin Coleman is the vet who might steal some carries. And on top of it, the Jets were not exactly a powerhouse offense. Sure they have some more pieces now, but I would need to see more before I am confident investing any of my high picks in that offense. Maybe preseason can change my view but that is where I stand right now.
I think a bigger risk to Hall would be if the Jets use Carter as the goal line back.
The one RB that would be hard for me to pass up in mid round 2 because I think he could slide due to his injury history is Saquon.
Also, I'm not big on rookie RB's early (top couple rounds).
I have Jonathan Taylor as a 4th round keeper, as I did last year because I drafted him in 2020 in the 4th round.
Also, not in a rush to grab any Jets RB early, and I'll happily be wrong one hat one too. If I'm wrong on it.
Late of course, but when is the last Jets RB to be fantasy dominant?
You're out of your mind. I hope other people that I'm in leagues with have the same thought process as you. There are 12 RBs I'd rather have than Hall off the top of my head and then add in all the ridiculous WRs.
