I have seen this clip a few times…I cant tell who KU is playing…but that one DB that catches him is fast as hell. Starts off at the bottom of the screen.

He is flying
I wondered that myself...

The chase and tackle by that DB was sensational.

Agreed.
Until we drafted him, I had no idea he played RB at Nebraska.

& I like to think I follow college football pretty closely. I remember seeing him in the bowl game & thinking, 'This kid looks pretty good', but I didn't really pay him much in terms of the draft.

I knew, but probably only because I'm from Kentucky and kept up with him throughout college. The kid is an athlete. Tough, smart and dependable like Schoen wanted.

ennis rakestraw, corner from Mizzou.

Should point out, he took an “angle” of directly north/south to end zone while Robinson was running away from defenders at an angle towards the end zone.
Thanks !

Yes he did…I was going to mention his angle…but he still covers a lot of ground quickly

Yes he did. Kid is from a TX state powerhouse.
The Darren Sproles comps

Have me intrigued. He doesnt strike me as being QUITE as shifty, but he seems to be able to get open as a WR pretty well. I like this pick more every day. If we can have him and Toney on the field together, that would be fun watching the other team try and match up.
Soon as we drafted Robinson, I thought

He reminded me of Dexter McCluster. Small rb that the Chiefs had play WR. Didn't make a big impact for them but showed good shiftiness.

What was the average height and weight of an NFL player in the '70s?
